The Matthew Ward concert was amazing. It was the most moving concert that I have ever attended. Lives were changed and people were blessed. I am so proud to have had Matthew be the first concert that I have promoted on my own. Matt is a true man of God. I am a better person for knowing him.
My good friend Sam Scales was the opener for Matthew Ward. She was pumped up to be in Indiana. Her new CD, Eyes On the Road made its debut in Mooresville IN that night.
The CCRPS is growing everyday. We are over 300 members now. I have a few plans up my sleeve for future events.
May 5th of 2012 is going to be a big day! I am putting together the 3rd ever Pethaed convention. I am calling it PC3 Indy! Celebrating 40 years of Petra! It’s the first real Petra fan convention to be held in a hotel. We will have Petra fans from all over coming to Indy to share stories and memorabilia. My good friends Sue Dempster and Ron Braun are helping me put this all together. The voice of Petra, John Schlitt will be headlining with a concert that evening! I will be asking past members of Petra to attend. I have no clue if any of them will show up or not, but it won’t hurt to ask them.
I will have more details for you as we get closer to PC3.
PC3 is going to be held at the Wingate Hotel on the west side of Indy. The Wingate is going to have special rates for PC3 goers. I will be announcing the ticket prices soon for the event soon. Keep checking back here or on the CCRPS page for PC3 updates.

CCRPS Update
Hello everyone. I thought that I had better check in and give you all a quick update on a few things.
The CCRPS is about to make some very cool changes. I don’t want to say too much about what is going on, but it’s going to be a good move. Let’s just say that it’s time to grow the group.
Don’t forget that the Matthew Ward concert is only two months away. I am very happy to have the Mooresville Church of God on board with me on this event.
The CCRPS has been helping John Schlitt promote his newest project on kickstarter.com. If you would like to help John on his new rock CD you can do so at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/johnwschlitt/john-schlitt-rock-cd-the-greater-cause?ref=live
If you are interested in booking John Schlitt, just drop me a line and I will be happy to help you set that up.
That is all that I have time for right now. Stay tuned for more updates soon!

John Schlitt in Concert!
John Schlitt, lead singer of "Petra" and internationally-known recording artist, will be featured at Mooresville Church of God in Mooresville, IN on Saturday, September 18 at 7:30 PM. John will also make an appearance on Sunday, Sept. 19 during the church's Sunday morning worship service at 9:30. Petra was founded in 1972, and is one of the world's best known and most successful Christian rock bands, with sales of over 7 million records. Schlitt, a native of Illinois, has been their lead vocalist since 1986. During his time with Petra, he has recorded 16 albums, earning four Grammy and numerous Dove awards, with many #1 and Top Ten hits on the Contemporary Christian Charts. His travels and performances with the group have reached all 50 states and as many as 18 countries. Prior to his time with Petra, Schlitt was lead singer of the rock band "Head East," a Midwest-based rock group which toured the United States in the 1970's and was best known for their classic hit, "Never Been Any Reason." Schlitt's concerts are a mixture of classic Petra tunes in rock, pop, and praise & worship style, such as "Beyond Belief," "No Doubt," and "We Need Jesus," plus hits off his solo albums such as "Show Me the Way," "One by One" and "Inside of You." Tickets are currently on sale at the church office for $5. Ticket prices at the gate will be $10. You can also purchase tickets at www.itickets.com. For more information, check out the church website: www.MooresvilleChurch.org or call the church office at 317-831-1418.
